These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you (the user, creator, or participant) and MakeVids AI("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our services—including our website, mobile app, and creator tools—you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree with any part, please do not use our services.

 

1. Use of Service

MakeVids AI helps creators produce, share, and earn from viral AI-generated videos. You can:

  • Join or create communities of video creators
  • Access educational materials and templates
  • Use our AI tools to generate content
  • Participate in events, share videos, and collaborate

B. Eligibility 📋

You must be at least the age of majority in your country to use MakeVids AI. By using our platform, you confirm that you have legal authority to agree to these Terms.

C. Registration 🔐

When you sign up, your personal information will be used according to our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for maintaining your account and password security.

By using MakeVids AI, you agree that your information may be visible to our team, your course instructors, and others in the community.

  • Share harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Engage in harassment, spam, impersonation
  • Upload viruses or use bots/scrapers
  • Promote discrimination or illegal products

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users for violations.

You may close your account by contacting accounts@makevids.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You’re welcome to send suggestions to accounts@makevids.ai. By submitting feedback, you allow us to use it freely.

2. Your Content

A. Ownership 📁

You retain full ownership of any content you create or upload. Members retain rights to their user-generated content.

B. License to Us 📤

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use your content within our platform.

C. Member Data 📇

Creators own their membership list and grant us limited rights to use it for managing the service.

D. Responsibility ⚠️

You agree to only upload original work and are responsible for ensuring no infringement of intellectual property rights.

3. Copyright and Trademark

A. Copyright 📚

Respect the IP rights of others. Repeated violations may result in account termination.

B. Trademark ®

Do not misuse trademarks. Confusing or unauthorized usage may result in content removal.

4. Platform Materials

All MakeVids AI branding, logos, software, and design are owned by us and our licensors.

B. License to You 🔓

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use our platform for personal or business use. You may not modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our service.

C. Third Party Content ⚙️

We’re not responsible for third-party content, services, or platforms integrated into our service.

5. Creator Responsibilities

A. Member Information 📥

You agree not to sell, misuse, or spam your member list. Communication should be relevant and respectful.

B. Legal Compliance 📑

You must comply with data privacy laws, including the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, and ensure secure handling of all user data.

C. Community Conduct 🧭

You’re responsible for maintaining trust, managing content properly, and ensuring members feel safe.

6. Integrated Services

You may link third-party platforms like Telegram or Discord. You acknowledge these integrations are governed by their respective privacy and terms policies.

7. Payment Terms

A. For Creators 💳

If you sell access to your content or community, fees may apply:

  • Platform Commission — a small percentage of subscription or event fees
  • Processing Fees — charged by Stripe or other payment providers
  • In-Community Purchases — additional fees for extras (events, downloads, etc.)

B. For Members 🙋‍♂️

Joining paid communities requires upfront payment. Refunds are subject to creator discretion.

C. Tax 💼

You are responsible for reporting income from your sales.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

  • Our services are provided “as is” without warranties.
  • We are not liable for content posted by users or actions of third parties.
  • You use MakeVids AI at your own risk.
  • Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you’ve paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to hold MakeVids AI harmless from claims arising out of your content, behavior, or use of the platform.

10. General Terms

  • Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept changes.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
  • Notices: Email is our primary method of contact.
  • Severability: If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • Relationship: This is not a partnership, agency, or joint venture.
